Since its launch last year, the Apple Watch has changed how we think about smart watches. From new ways to interact with or use apps and notifications, to health and fitness, the Apple Watch makes a perfect companion to the iPhone, while providing a whole new set of opportunities to improve our lifestyles. Apple have just released a new set of short ads which give an overview of key features, while highlighting the health and fitness aspects in particular.

Three of the commercials revolve around sporting activities – “Chase”, “Golf,” and “Row” – and showcase how the Apple Watch can track daily activity goals. One such ad (“Chase”) features actor/singer-songwriter Nick Jonas in a running challenge with his brother, Joe. However, health and fitness is not the only focus of these ads – another, “Find,” shows Chloë Sevigny searching for something, before using the Find My iPhone function of the Apple Watch to ping her iPhone. Others highlight 3rd party apps, such as “Rain,” which uses Dark Sky to warn of bad weather, while another “Swap” shows how simple it is to change the whole look/and feel of the Apple Watch by wearing a different band.
